A little something better is coming. Launching on Kickstarter

Mom of two · Creator of mybetterbib

Hi, I’m Emily.

I’m a mom of two, and I’m creating mybetterbib for the moments when your hands are full of baby and you could use one less thing to adjust.

This journal is a place for the details that help you make a decision: what a product does, what to check before choosing it, and where to find the original information.

Why this idea matters to me

I want a bib that follows the change from feeding to burping: on baby first, then turned around for my shoulder. I want an absorbent shelf to catch spit-up before it reaches the front or back of my clothes. And I want the silicone interior to help it settle into place when I’m thinking more about sleep than rearranging a cloth.

Non-toxic materials, easy washing, and softness at the contact points are part of that everyday thinking. The product is still in development, and I’ll share the prototypes and testing as those choices become a finished design. Read why I’m creating mybetterbib.

What you’ll find in my guides

I write about feeding and burping, clothing, registries, baby gear, names, and everyday care. Product guides name specific models, show real product photos, and link to manufacturers or official retailers so you can check fit, specifications, and current availability.

If you’re here because a burp cloth keeps shifting or you’re planning for those first night feeds, start with the spit-up and burping collection. The questions behind mybetterbib are the questions I want those guides to make easier.

How the research works

The starting point is the question behind the search. A registry guide should help you build or find a list. A monitor comparison should explain Wi-Fi, range, subscriptions, and practical tradeoffs. A care guide should make clear what you can check at home and when a clinician is the right next step.

These guides use published manufacturer information and linked reference sources, with AI-assisted research and drafting. They do not represent hands-on product testing. Prices, retailer policies, available variants, and product instructions can change, so the source links are part of the guide.

A clear boundary on health advice

The health articles are general education and have not been medically reviewed. They are not a diagnosis or an individual treatment plan. Your child’s clinician can help with symptoms, medicines, feeding problems, and development.

About mybetterbib

This journal is published by mybetterbib, a convertible absorbent bib concept in development. The product has its own FAQ and launch information. Mentions of other brands are independent editorial references, not claims that those brands endorse mybetterbib.
